Beginner Level
Together, we will learn the foundational skills needed to crochet over the course of 4 weeks. You will be given a skill to practice each week before the next class. Please feel free to check in with me during the next class if you need help. Check out what you will learn each week: Week 1: Beginner's Basics - Pick up yarn and a hook for the first time. Learn how to hold the yarn and hook, make a slip knot, and make your first single crochet chain. Week 2: Woven Washcloth - Take your single...
Learners will develop their crochet skills as well as their communication skills. Questions and positive feedback between learnings are encouraged. Week 1: Learners can hold their hook and yarn, make a slip knot, and chain. Week 2: Learners can create a washcloth using the single crochet stitch. Week 3: Learners can count stitches and correct their work. Week 4: Learners can tie off and weave in the ends of their washcloth.
Homework Offered
Learners will be asked each week to practice the skills learned in class to prepare for the next meeting.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
