This will be a hands-on preschool class with lots of learner participation. Students will learn to recognize the numbers 1-5. They will learn to count using a catchy song and hand movements. Students will also learn to add numbers 1-5 while feeding cookies to the cookie monster. Students will be encouraged to stand, clap, and count along with the teacher. I am a kindergarten classroom teacher, and have also taught young learners online for 3 years. I have a passion for early childhood education, and believe that learning should be fun!
1 file available upon enrollmentA one-page handout will be provided 24 hours before class start time. Learners will take away an engaging math manipulative to continue practicing addition.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parent support may be needed as students will be encouraged to stand and clap as we count to five.
