Come with me and learn about all the super cool and amazing places and things we can find in this magnificent country Costa Rica in Central America. In this 14 week Costa Rica Adventure Course, we travel through Costa Rica on adventures in San Jose, rainforests, diving the oceans, visiting volcanos, rappelling waterfalls, surfing, and discovering amazing wildlife like toucans, monkeys, sloths, and more! You will come away from our course with a great appreciation of Costa Rica and hopefully a desire to visit soon! Week 1: Introductions. Arriving in the capital city San Jose. A tour of San Jose and an introduction to Costa Rican, geography, demographics, history, and, culture. Week 2: Travel to the different kinds of rainforests in Costa Rica and introduction to Costa Rica's Biodiversity Week 3: Monkeys Week 4: Costa Rica food and history Week 5: Costa Rican Birds Week 6: Sloths Week 7: Intro to Geothermic Energy and Costa Rica's Volcanos and hot springs Week 8: Discover the different regions of Costa Rica Week 9: Discover Scuba Diving and snorkeling and meet the incredible underwater marine life Week 10: Creepy Crawlers of Costa Rica (reptiles and insects, and more) Week 11: Waterfalls and hiking Week 12: Costa Rica adventures; white water rafting, repelling, ziplining, and more Week 13: Visit animal sanctuaries like The Sloth Sanctuary, Jaguar Rescue Centre, and Territorio de Zaguates Dog Sanctuary. Week 14: Jungle Cats and Review My classes are inclusive and allow Learners to ask questions, cultivate discussions, and share experiences with each other to learn together and of course, have fun!! My teaching style is energetic, interactive, engaging and always supportive. **Having lived recently in Costa Rica part-time for over 3 years and visited the country many times prior, I am knowledgeable about the country's geography, culture, and wildlife. I also spent time volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries in Costa Rica. I hold a Degree in Communication & Culture and I am TESOL and TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Second Language) I am a world traveler that has been privileged to have lived and traveled in many different countries across the world. Traveling is my passion! I am very excited to share my knowledge with your Learner through this course!
