Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(687)
In this one-time class, we will. learn how to make a tasty shrimp sushi roll right at home.

Class experience

Intimidated by trying to make sushi at home? I'll show you that making sushi at home is not only fun but incredibly easy. Kids will learn safety around the kitchen, including proper knife skills, and how to properly read and understand following a recipe while preparing a delicious meal that is guaranteed to impress. It's sushi night in! * if you are vegan or don't like fish- this can be modified to a veggie roll.
I have been working as a kids enrichment teacher for the last 3 years. I love teaching children and allowing them to create and think outside the box. I have a 9-year-old son who is on the Autism Spectrum, so am a very patient and understanding teacher. I realize all children learn differently and it is imperative to really listen to each child in order for them to feel secure and safe.
Bamboo roller covered with plastic wrap
1 cup sushi rice ( Calrose rice- this is very important!) (please have it already cooked and ready for class) it is best to have the rice warm
