Class Experience

The students will learn how to cook yummy dishes by following a simple recipe. We will make one dish per week. Class will last up to 1 hour each day we meet. Students should have a basic knowledge of how to turn on and off the burners on the stove as well as set the temperature for the oven. Progress will be evaluated based on how the dish tastes and looks. This class will require students to be able to multi task while cooking multiple foods at one time. Students will need to make best use of their time as to be sure all main dishes and side dishes are finished around the same time. Please note: You may need a taste tester! For homework (optional) you can choose a night to make this dish for your family.
Dishes we will make each week are:
Week 1: Chicken Alfredo with Bell Peppers
Week 2: Made From Scratch Hamburger Helper
Week 3: Creamy Tortellini Soup
Week 4: Tacos
