This class is an asynchronous cooking class, designed to teach students how to make simple easy meals and desserts for the whole family. In this month-long class, we will learn to make breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. There will be no live classes. Learners may do this at their own pace. Each week, I will upload three recipes to the classrooms page, along with detailed instructions, a step-by-step video for each recipe, and photos to help guide the student while cooking/baking their...
Learners will learn how to make delicious meals for their whole family, some quick and easy, others that take a little time to prepare. They will learn about food preparation and ways we can safely cook for the whole family.
All Recipes will be posted on the classroom page in individual posts each week.
Their PowerPoints of their meal/dessert will need to be uploaded by each Friday. They will need to share a little bit about how they felt as they prepared the meal, what they found to be difficult for them, what they found to be easy, and what they changed about their recipe.
No live meetings, and no time outside of class.
Because we will be using the stove and the oven, parental supervision is recommended in case they need assistance. We will discuss safety while cooking, however, parents should remind their learners to be safe as well.
