Deepening your Spanish conversational can be easy and fun! In this ongoing class students will meet weekly and practice conversational Spanish. This class is for students who already have a foundation in speaking Spanish and are looking to deepen their skills quickly. Learners can join at any time and the classes do not build upon previous knowledge. Conversational Topics Covered in the Course (Note: topics will rotate on an ongoing basis) July 5- introducing yourself & responding (greetings) July 12 - common sayings and phrases July 19- asking for common needs, objects and for help July 26- sharing about yourself August 2- discussing the weather August 9- discussing time of day and time
Learning Goals
Students will be able to deepen their Spanish conversational and fluency skills.

Hello Parents & Students,
I am Ms. Carrera and I am so very excited to be here on Outschool and would love to tell you a little bit about myself and the classes I teach. I have been working with children educationally since 2003 and have a strong background in literacy and Spanish instruction. I have worked as a literacy coach, taught Spanish enrichment and also taught classes online.
My passion is English Language Arts, Spanish, Art and making learning fun and engaging for all of my students. I truly believe that all students can learn difficult things if you are just creative in the ways that you reach each child. You will find that in my classes we learn so many things through games and using visuals to help my students have fun and succeed!
On a more personal note, I am a mom of 2 wonderful adult children and have 2 beautiful grandsons (5yr and 10 mos.). I can't wait to have more time in 2021 to teach more students literacy and of course Spanish too! I look forward to getting to know your student more in class! Adios!
