Intermediate and advanced Spanish speakers, have fun thinking and speaking Spanish while either keeping your cover as a spy or trying to uncover the truth as a detective! This is a great game for learners and fluent speakers alike. We will NOT be playing the online game Among Us in class -- this is a conversational game somewhat similar to the fundamentals of Among Us. You (or your learner) WILL need to be able to use the Zoom chat box during class or at least read what is being written there as part of the game. This game will be a good fit if you are ready to think creatively, commit to speaking Spanish, and work together with your new friends! Your grammar and pronunciation does not have to be perfect -- you're allowed to make one billion "mistakes" as long as you're willing to practice your Spanish skills. I will repeat or rephrase as needed so you can practice fixing mistakes or learn new words. If there's a word you want to use but don't know it in Spanish, just send it to me in the chat box so I can help. Schedule: There are no weekly themes -- the game is always the same, but the mystery words change with every round. There aren't any themes, so you don't need to prepare anything. Just come ready to use your Spanish! You're welcome to drop in and out as your schedule permits. However, we do need three or more players for the game to work, so if you have another Spanish-speaking friend on Outschool, be sure to invite them too! This game is learner-directed. What you will learn: You might learn some new words in Spanish. You might become a more confident Spanish speaker. You might learn a new way to phrase something in Spanish. You might learn how to bluff. You might learn how to listen and take turns. You might learn how to play a new game... And you just might learn how to be a detective or a spy! You will definitely: Try your best! Meet some new friends. Have fun!
