Conversation Skills in Italian: Learning Mini-Dialogues in Italiano
Class experience
In this class, we are covering questions and answers to those questions to gain confidence at a young age in conversation skills in Italiano. Students can have no Italian experience, beginner level, or already know Italian and just want to come to practice conversation skills or review them. We will start with short introductions in English to get to know each other (about 5 minutes). For young children to gain interest in speaking Italian through conversation skills and gain confidence that they can speak sentences
I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. In high school, I took Spanish, and at university, I took up through Intermediate level in Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn Italian language by making it fun and engaging through my teaching style, print offs, and Quizlets games. I have been teaching basic through intermediate Italian courses for over 3 years involving basic conversation skills, grammar (present indicative, passato prossimo, conjugating verbs with pronouns, adjectives reflecting the correct the-- as there are 7 the's in Italian, and more), as well as vocabulary and fairytale reading classes to make the lanuage to come to life in a fun way.
Homework Offered
Students can practice the conversations learned. They will get a copy of what I wrote on the Whiteboard (the questions/answers) and can print that off to review.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
