Conversation Class for ELL Learners
Class experience
This class meets once a week for about an hour. Students of various levels (A2-C2 CEFR) (beginners to low advanced) can practice their language skills. Each week students will learn a skill such as asking for help, apologizing, inviting someone to a party or talking about family. Then students will have a chance to practice these skills and then practice the skill with classmates or the teacher depending on the size of the class. I have 10+ years teaching English as a Second Language to teens and adults. I have a Masters in Education and certification in English as a Second Language (Grades 5-12)
Homework Offered
Students will not have to complete homework but are encouraged to use their skills outside of the classroom.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be informally assessed by their ability to demonstrate the skill in class.Grades Offered
Students will need a pen and paper for each class to write notes if they desire.
We will be using basic grammar throughout the class so practicing grammar or vocabulary is encouraged.
