Contemporary Issues in Literature
In this 8 week course, students will read and discuss age appropriate texts. We will work on activities addressing societal issues. We will read three essays and excerpts from Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.

In this course, we will work on developing our reading skills while exploring different genres of literature and the way in which literature reflects the world around us, both past and present. Learning NEVER stops for any of us - the world is ever-evolving. I'm so excited and look forward to a great course!

This class will utilize multiple presentation techniques to accommodate and support learners of varying needs.

All reading materials will be provided. Students need a computer with strong internet connection, as well as access to Google (Docs specifically).
