This course will focus on the student's specific English needs for academic and personal success. Parents, guardians, or the student are encouraged to provide the teacher with specific skill areas or assignments that need to be addressed. English language learners will improve their accuracy and fluency in communicating in English.
I have taught English as a second language and English as a foreign language for children, youth, and adults in the United States and overseas for nearly 20 years. I enjoy the details of the language (especially grammar and pronunciation), and I am also very patient with learners who may feel uncomfortable or insecure in speaking or writing English. Together we will break through these "barriers" in order to conquer English!

Besides the standard Outschool technology and equipment requirements, the learner will need a pencil and paper (preferably a notebook or binder). If the student has a particular assignment(s) to address, he/she will need to have the materials related to this (e.g., book). Any other necessary materials (review worksheets, etc.) will be provided by the instructor.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
