This is a follow up class to my Conquer Long Division - Introduction to Long Division When a learner has completed that class, OR already has knowledge of long division using 1 digit divisors and up to 3 digit dividends, this class will be a great way for them to practice their skills. In this 45 minute class, I will provide a quick review of the long division process. Then, we will spend the rest of our class playing a game called Time to Climb to practice these skills! **Please note: this game includes a timer on questions. Each question allows the learners 90 seconds to solve the problems. In our game, learners will become familiar with some different ways that a division problem is presented and they will also practice several problems. The number of problems that are practiced depends on the proficiency and speed of the learners. We will use Nearpod for this lesson and game. Learners can use a second device (preferable) with the APP or open a browser to access the websites. Please be sure that your learner knows how to use the Nearpod APP or website before class.
