In this one-time session, we will learn three ways to tell the letters b and d apart. Students will practice each strategy, and end by playing a game. Families will receive a practice packet to complete afterwards if they choose.

When children are learning their letters, b and d can be an especially tricky challenge! In this class, students will learn three (3) quick and easy strategies for telling b and d apart. Miss Amy will demonstrate each method, then the learners will try them out until until they feel comfortable and successful. At the end of the class, all learners will play a game together that will allow them to practice their new skills, recognizing b and d. Families will be able to download an optional PDF resource to provide extra practice after the class is over.
Learning Goals
Students will confidently and accurately differentiate between the letters 'b' and 'd' in reading activities, using memory aid strategies as necessary.

Pre-Requisites
This class works best for students who have already begun learning the letter sounds and names (but not required).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
