Confident kids UNITE. I can't wait for your learner to join me on a confidence adventure by practicing our positive self-talk, assertiveness, growth mindset, and being courageous.

Expect lots of giggles and shouting of affirmations daily!

Day 1: Positive Self Talk
We will discuss self-talk and how it holds a lot of power in the way we think about challenges and about ourselves. We will practice "I am" statements and help our emoji friends reframe their negative thoughts into positive ones.

Day 2: Assertiveness
Kids are never too young to learn about assertiveness! In this class, we will discuss how to say "no" in a kind way. Learners will talk through different scenarios and practice their assertive responses. They will be challenged when people respond negatively to their "kind no" and learn that sometimes being assertive means both people won't get what they want. We can't always make people happy, but we can always be kind.

Day 3: Growth Mindset
Students will discuss neuroplasticity and the importance of a growth mindset.

Day 4: Courage
Courage is something we need when we feel afraid. In this class, we will discuss how to call our courage out and make our fear wimpy.
