Conducting Music Using Times 4 Facts

Let's learn and improve our times 4 facts! We will use music and movement that will help you remember the 4 times tables!

Class Experience

1. BUZZ GAME- We will play a short game taking turns saying the facts on the fours times table, just to see the levels of the students.

2. LISTENING FOR PATTERNS- We will color in a 50s grid to understand the patterns of numbers in the facts as they go up.

3. BE A CONDUCTOR- We will use the hand signals that a real life orchestra conductor uses in 4/4 time while counting.

4. CREATE YOUR OWN SIGN- Students will end by playing a clapping game in which each student is responsible for different facts.

Students will need to bring to class...

1. 2 sharpened pencils (1 extra in case the first one breaks)
2. one marker or highlight (in color of their choice)
3. three attachments printed on white paper
 4 files available upon enrollment
