Conditioning and Flexibility for Gymnasts - Evening Class
In my group class, gymnasts will focus on building strength via gymnastics-specific conditioning and flexibility exercises 2x per week. I've created fun ways for gymnasts to learn the necessity of strength, conditioning, and flexibility.
Class Experience
This class is all about warming up your body with conditioning and cooling down with flexibility! Conditioning includes core, arms, legs, back, position holding, and balance. Flexibility includes shoulder flexibility, splits, back flexibility, toe point, and more. This class is your opportunity to get stronger and advance your flexibility. In this 30-minute class, 15 minutes will be dedicated to conditioning, and 15 minutes will be dedicated to flexibility. Gymnasts will be able to...
- In every session, gymnasts will learn the importance of building strength and increasing flexibility.
Parents, please have an open space for your gymnasts to practice in. No tables or hard surfaces they could hurt themselves on. Panel mats are always a good piece of equipment to have. If you need equipment recommendations, don't hesitate to get in touch with me, and I will send you a list of appropriate equipment for your house and gymnast. By signing up for this class, you should understand that physical injury is possible when participating in any exercise or gymnastics program.
