During this course, students will build the skillset to effectively use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel. These tools are extremely valuable in the workforce, on a resume and are a necessary skill in high school and college. Each week, students will learn a new skill for each program. By the end of the course, students will have confidence to use all three of these Microsoft programs. Course Schedule: Week 1 Saving and Navigation Week 2 Fonts, Title Slide, Cell Formating Week 3 Styles and Pattern Recognition Week 4 Prepping for Papers/Essays, Excel Organization Week 5 Flyer/Brochure, Slide Types, and Color Coding Week 6 Images and Number Storage Week 7 Images and Text Combination, Functions Week 8 All Forms of Media, Functions Week 9 Animations and Number Based Color Coding Week 10 Edits, Review, Graphing

Week 3: Styles and Patterns - Mastering Efficiency
In Week 3, we focus on mastering Styles in Word and Pattern Recognition in Excel
Lesson 4:
Week 4: Crafting Your Story - Prepping for Papers/Essays, Excel Organization
This week, we're exploring how to effectively prepare for writing papers and essays in Word and organize information in Excel.

I currently am the Chief Microsoft Instructor for an EdTech company based in the United States.
I currently am a credentialed teacher in Washington State and hold my endorsements in biology (5-12), health (K-12) and fitness (K-12).
I currently teach AP Biology, honors biology, anatomy and physiology and health science.
Last year, I taught biology, environmental science, health, physics and P.E. to middle and high school students.
I hold my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in life sciences and health.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Whitworth University. I completed 1,250 clinical hours in physical therapy clinics, collegiate, semi-professional and high school athletic training rooms, emergency rooms and urgent cares.
Throughout this program, I took multiple courses that required a high level of competency in Microsoft Office programs. I completed fitness assessments and data analyses using Microsoft Excel. I conducted my own semester-long research project and utilized Microsoft Office programs to collect and summarize my findings.
