I am so excited to bring my virtual high school curriculum to Outschool. I am an artist and teacher who has been teaching High School Art at a Virtual Academy Charter for the past 5 years (implementing and refining the lessons and activities) and K-8 Art in onsite workshops at a homeschool/independent study Charter for the past 8 years.  Art is my passion and I love supporting others in growing their skills and knowledge about varied art mediums. 

Homework Offered
Students are expected to complete original works of art outside of the classroom based on the weeks lesson/subject. This will vary in time from student to student.
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Rubrics are available upon request.

Student art submissions are not required and grades are not given. However, if requested I will provide a grade based on a rubric that encompasses the following:
1-Workmanship, Paper Neatness
2-Creativity and Originality
3-Effort, Time on Task, & Complete
4-Apply Elements & Principles, Follow Directions
5-Overall composition & Difficulty
