In this 10-week course, 2nd and 3rd-grade students will cover the first quarter of Common Core standards in conjunction with coding using CodeSpark.
Class experience
The Complete First Quarter plus Coding: 2nd and 3rd Grade course includes nine weeks of instruction and a final week of review and assessment. Students will receive rubric-based grades for each assignment as well as an average grade for the course. We will cover Math, English Language Arts, Life Science, Geography/map reading, Art, P.E., Project-Based Learning, and Coding. This class follows the Common Core standards and 21st-century skills. This class is taught in American Sign Language.
Students will learn 2nd and 3rd-grade skills with a focus on coding.
