The goal of this class is to develop good communication skills for students and help them feel more comfortable having conversations and communicating with one another.
I have been a teacher and administrator in public schools for the past 23 years. During that time I have had extensive training in ways to help students communicate properly. My most recent school implemented Great Expectations and there was a huge focus throughout our school to help students improve proper communication with one another. I will use many ideas that I learned through the training and actual implementation in my 1st and 3rd grade classrooms to help students accomplish the goals of this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
