As we work together, I will monitor my student's understanding of the material being taught. I will ask students questions to ensure my student comprehends the information. I also use games, songs, poems, youtube video clips and a discussion at the end of class.

What will be taught?
     In this one-time class, student will be able to ask the teacher questions and review any material that relates to (adding/subtracting fractions, Common Denominators, Improper Fractions, Mixed Numbers, etc.) Parents do have the option to re-book my class as many time as they like. Each time, I will create different activities that are reinforce multiplying fractions. 

What topics will you cover?
     Depending on the students' needs, we will meet for 35 minutes per class. Subjects that I am qualified to teach include: 
1st-6th grade Mathematics.

I will work together with each student/family to help design a goal-oriented lesson. Parents and I will communicate using the Outschool platform.

How is your class structured?
I provide a fun and safe classroom environment. Students are encouraged to ask questions as we learn and review information. I will create/follow a fun power point lesson that may include different, songs, interactive games and vivid pictures to help students understand and retain information better. 

How will you teach?
I will teach using an interactive power point. In this power point, I include interactive games, you tube videos, songs and more!

What's your teaching style?
I’m a big believer in using 'positive reinforcement' to encourage my students. I also use verbal praise as well as (high-fives, rewards and even a prize box.) I find that students are more engaged in the material when there are prizes to be earned.   

How much will learners get to interact with you and each other?
     Students will have my direct attention throughout the entire class time.
