We’ll meet each week to talk about, share & work on our own comics! We share and chat a lot in this class, with time to practice art and comic principles like color theory, panels, dialog, narration, perspective and composition at the end.
Class experience
Let’s meet each week to talk about, share and work on comics! This class is an unmuted, chatty fun place to meet and see friends and talk about art, ideas and more! Each class may have more or less actual instruction time, depending on how much discussion the kids get into (which is, more often than not, a LOT)! I am facilitating the discussion along the way and guiding students with art concepts in the context of what they are sharing and making. There is a lot of "between the lines"...
Club materials: A few pieces of blank paper A pencil and eraser Markers or Colored Pencils Optional: Comics you’re already working on Drawing tablet or device you like to work on Markers, colored pencils or any other color you may want to use
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
