In this 4-day class, students will learn the basics of storytelling, prepare a plot, learn the basics of drawing cartoons, and write their own short graphic novel!
Class experience
Each day will begin with a quick check in and warm up. Then, Ms. AJ will teach a short lesson on crafting a story, followed by a new technique for drawing comics, characters, and settings. Students will have some time to work on their projects, with the support of the teacher, and class will end with a share out of student work. Day 1: Introduction to storytelling and plot.
