Collaborative Creative Writing is a technique I use to showcase the very best from each writer in the class. Each week, we will focus on a different genre of writing, while reviewing the five steps of the writing process. Students will be assessed based on participation in class discussion and their contribution to the creation of the final product. Students will receive a copy of their 2024 Summer Writing Portfolio at the end of the course. *This course is a part of Mrs. Sturdevant's Summer Sampler 2024
Learning Goals
Students will produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
With some guidance and support from peers and Mrs. Sturdevant, students will develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach.
