Homework
1-2 hours per week. Homework will vary based on what was done during the session. For example a student needing to finish their college list may finish it before the next session, but a student needing to write their essay should finish their essay before the next session.Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
In this one-on-one session students will learn more about the college application and admissions process. They will figure out what step in the application process they currently are on and begin working on that step. If they're stuck on something, like writing an essay, figuring out what colleges they'd like to attend, or finding scholarships, we will work together during the duration of our time to finish this task. My teaching style during these lessons is letting the student decide what we'll be focusing on and then guiding them on what they'll need to do to complete this assignment. Learners do not need to come in with any experience with the topic of college, they just have to be open to learn.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have previous experience working within the college advising department of a school, where I helped students during their 12th-grade college application process and deciding on colleges. Additionally, I helped students who were currently in college get connected to the resources they needed to stay in college.
