I will provide prompts for them to follow, adapting each to the individual if needed. Intermediate - Advanced Level
In my college entrance essay tutoring program, high school seniors will master essay writing, focusing on college entrance essays. This technique will be further applicable to all sorts of essays since I will teach the fundamentals of essay writing. My workshop-style teaching is open and supportive, with personalized feedback and peer reviews. I emphasize hands-on learning through interactive prompts and exercises rather than busy work. Students will learn to brainstorm, develop strong thesis statements, and craft compelling essays from introductions to final drafts. The program includes two major assignments: a personal essay and an academic statement, which will be the basis for assessment. This approach equips students with the skills and confidence needed for academic success.
