Class Experience

US Grade 10 - 12
This is a fully interactive class and students are expected to attend with a willingness to participate. No prior knowledge of the college process is required, it's my job to help meet students where they are and to work with them to meet their needs. It is strongly preferred that at least one parent or guardian attend the first session so that expectations and goals can be clearly established. Future meetings can include only the student and meeting summaries will be sent to keep parent(s)/guardian(s) in the loop. Students/parents may come with a clear stated goal, such as "We want help finding schools with D3 soccer that also offer X major, have a suburban setting, and offer merit scholarships," or they may begin by knowing only that they want to go to a four-year college. It's my job to educate students and parents about the college process and to focus on finding the right college fit.
