Did you know you can easily make your own coffee shop syrup flavors at home? I've been making my own syrups at home for years, and I'm excited to share this with your learners! In this class, students will learn to make their own coffee shop syrups. These syrups can be used in all sorts of coffee shop drinks (like lattes or frappucinos), or in this case, Italian Sodas. Students will learn how to make them, and how to modify them for various flavors. Students will then use their own homemade syrups as they learn how to make their own Italian Sodas. This is a hands on class. Please be sure your student has all necessary ingredients so they can follow along. We will be utilizing the stove, so please be sure to provide adequate supervision, as needed, for your student.

Supply List
-Sparkling/carbonated water (or any kind of homemade Soda Stream bubbly water) -1/2 cup-1 cup granulated sugar (You'll need 1/2 cup per flavor you want to make) -Extracts of your choice for flavors: vanilla, raspberry, orange, coconut, lemon, etc. Pick 1-2 options TOTAL for the class. -Regular, non-carbonated water -1/4-1/2 cup heavy cream -Cups, storage jar or container, measuring cups/spoons, small pot for the stove, stirring spoon -Ice -Whipped Cream -optional garnish: maraschino cherries This is the 3rd class in a 3 part Coffee Shop/Starbucks series. Classes do NOT need to be taken in any particular order.
