Coding Python Turtle Full Year

In this year-long Python course, learners aged 11-15 will explore a variety of topics, including Turtle graphics, game development, AI, web development, data science, and more. The class is structured with weekly themes, allowing gradual progression and hands-on exploration. Any learners that join us part way through this journey are more than welcome. - Throughout the year-long Python course, participants will embark on a comprehensive coding journey. Starting with fundamental Python skills, they will progress through graphics, game development, web development, and data handling. Engaging in creative coding projects, they'll explore advanced concepts, data visualization, and touch on artificial intelligence and machine learning basics. With a focus on collaboration and communication, learners will share insights, work on group projects, and reflect on their coding experiences.
Teachers will have over 5 years experience teaching coding and have great experience in the area that they are teaching. Learners should take our Python Turtle multiday class first or have a good basic understanding of Pyton Turtle.
A reliable computer/PC/Laptop is needed with strong internet is required. Any additional resources will be posted in the classroom ahead of time.
While learning Python is generally safe, it's crucial to be aware of online safety. Supervise internet use, ensure age-appropriate content, and discuss responsible online behavior.
Python Turtle will be downloaded. Other outside resources not mentioned will be used by the instructor only and not required by the learners.
