Students are introduced to coding terminology and develop an understanding of how to assign actions to sprites.

Aliens in Space! (Understanding the X-Y coordinate plane)
Students are introduced to the concept of the coordinate plane and develop an understanding of it's relationship between actions and sprites.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Shapes & Multiple Objects (Working with Commands and Multiple Sprites)
Students are introduced to working with multiple sprites.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Create a Dance! (Exploring Strings and Integers)
Students learn to identify types of python code and how it can be used in commands. 
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Create a Story with Dialogue! (Exploring Multiple Commands)
Students work with multiple sprites and multiple actions.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
 Design a Robot Face (Understanding Comments)
Students are introduced to using comments to organize work, and learn to work with multiple shapes.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Floating in Space (Integers & Strings)
Students expand their knowledge of unique variable names and their usage in dot notation.
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Final Project 
Students are given a set of requirements to include in their final project.
