Description

Class Experience

- Practice problem-solving skills through weekly coding puzzles
- Practice reading more complicated pieces of code through guided projects and games
- Encourage students to continue working on personal coding projects
- Create a safe, encouraging space where students can interact with other learners who are interested in coding and building their own projects
- Provide an environment where students can ask questions about coding and get helpful, thoughtful answers.
I will not assign any official "homework", but I will encourage students to continue working on a personal project and offer suggestions for what they might add next.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
To make setup as easy as possible, we will use Codepen for writing and running code. If you'd prefer to use another online coding environment, feel free to reach out and I'll try to find a way to make that work.
