In this one time class, students will learn about the different kinds of cloud we see in our skies. The goal of this course is to give the students a basic beginning knowledge of the clouds we see and how to identify them. In this class we will learn about the following types: cirrus, stratus, stratocumulus, cumulus, and cumulonimbus. We will explore how to spot them, how they are formed, and what weather we can expect. Each child will complete a cloud watcher craft to take with them on their next outside adventure. Please see the supplies list in the class description. I can't wait to see your student in class!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am looking forward to teaching with Outschool! My name is Amanda and I was born in Minnesota, but now live in Iowa with my husband and 4 kids. I currently homeschool my 4 children and enjoy every minute of it!
I received my Bachelor's Degree in History/Political Science and English with a literature emphasis. I also hold a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Secondary Language Arts Education. History and Classical Literature are two of my favorite things and I hope to share that love with my students at Outschool.
I have taught with VIPkid as an online English teacher for almost 2 years now and I have experience teaching little ones as a curriculum planner for preschoolers and substitute teacher for high school students.
I can not wait to meet your child! Have a Blessed Day!
