Students will need to watch the video presentation with each lesson, clean the assigned tasks and comment or post a picture letting me know they have completed it.Class Experience
Lets learn how to dejunk, organize and clean different areas in our homes. Part of growing and learning to be an adult is learning how to care for your home and belongings. This class consists of 4 lessons that will touch on how we can clean the kitchen breaking it down in simple steps. We will discuss cleaning, organizing these areas and how decluttering them and building habits will help keep them clean over time. Each lessons will have a video presentation, students need to watch the video and are encouraged to post a comment about something they learned or how their cleaning went. For fun there will also be a small scavenger hunt item to look for at the end of each video. Students are encouraged to post pictures of the scavenger hunt item. Class structure: 2 min cleaning safety 10-20 min instruction from teacher, we will discuss cleaning tips, safety, product suggestion, and organizing tips. 2 min maintenance/habit discussion 10-30 min student cleans after video See syllabus for break down of each lesson.
Learning Goals
The goal is for each student to come away with cleaning, dejunking, and organizational skills each class and to gain the confidence in tackling a large cleaning project.

We will be learning about how to clean the dishwasher, do handwash dishes, clean the counter and the sink.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will be using cleaning chemicals so please make sure they know what is safe for them to use. We will go over basic safety with cleaning products. Students will also be going over dejunking/organizing please look over the spaces we plan to work on each week and advise students what they can and cannot get rid of.
Supply List
Students will need basic cleaning supplies, these may vary depending on what you have on hand. All Purpose Cleaner Cloths For Cleaning (Or Paper Towels) Window/Glass Cleaner Scrubby Sponges Magic Erasers Broom & Dustpan or Vacuum Mop & Floor Cleaner Sponges Optional: Cleaning gloves, and Music to listen to as they clean

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
