Teens & tweens learn life skills such as basic cleaning, staying organized, and how to break down projects into manageable tasks. Students will learn to clean a bathroom step by step. The goal is to clean and have fun at the same time!

1 hour per week. Students will need to watch the video presentation for each lesson and clean the assigned tasks. Students are welcome to share photos or message about their experience with that lessons cleaning assignment but it is not required.Class Experience
Lets learn how to dejunk, organize and clean different areas in our homes. Part of growing and learning to be an adult is learning how to care for your home and belongings. This 4 lesson class will touch on how we can clean the bathroom, breaking it down into simple steps. We will discuss cleaning, organizing these areas and how decluttering them and building habits will help keep them clean over time. Each lesson will contain one video that focuses on 2-3 specific areas in the bathroom. Students will need to watch the video before doing their part of the cleaning. Class structure (times may vary slightly): 2 min cleaning safety 10-20 min instruction from teacher, we will discuss cleaning tips, safety, product suggestion, and organizing tips. 2 min maintenance/habit discussion 10-30 min student cleans after video See class syllabus for each lesson focus.
Learning Goals
The goal is for each student to come away with cleaning, dejunking, and organizational skills each class and to gain the confidence in tackling a large cleaning project.

Sink & Toilet
This lesson we will be going over how to clean the sink and the toilet. 20 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
Tub & Shower
In this lesson we will be working on the bathtub and shower. 15 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Cabinets & Mirror
Lets learn about how to organize the cabinets and clean them at the same time, along with cleaning the mirror. Lesson 4:
Floors, Doors, & Light Switches
In our last lesson we will be cleaning the floor, door and light switches in the bathroom. 11 mins of video lessons
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will be using cleaning chemicals so please make sure they know what is safe for them to use. We will go over basic safety with cleaning products. Students will also be going over dejunking/organizing please look over the spaces we plan to work on each week and advise students what they can and cannot get rid of.
Supply List
Students will need basic cleaning supplies, these may vary depending on what you have on hand. All Purpose Cleaner Cloth For Cleaning (Or Paper Towels) Window/Glass Cleaner Scrubby Sponges Magic Erasers Toilet Cleaner And Brush Broom & Dustpan or Vacuum Mop & Floor Cleaner Optional: Music to listen to as they clean
