Bonjour! Do you have a preschooler who loves playdough? Introduce them to the French language in this immersive class! We will build different things with playdough as I speak to the students in French! I speak about 50% in French, depending on the group of kids. This class can also be repeated because it is a student-led class in regard to what we make. If students prefer to follow along with what I'm making, they will have that option as well. Students will be able to show off their creations and I will help them use French as they do so! This is a beginning class, so no prior French knowledge is necessary.

NOTE: some playdough can contain gluten. If this is a concern for your learner, you are free to use a substitution of a similar dough or clay consistency.

I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College.
