After the piece is dried, students are encouraged to use acrylic or tempera paint to finish the piece. To achieve a shiny finished project, a glossy enamel spray can be used.Class Experience
In this class, students will learn a variety of pottery terms and use pinch technique to create a fun bobble head of their own. Students will follow along step-by-step to create their own pottery piece. Students are encouraged to ask questions and talk to the teacher during the class. Please share your progress with the teacher for feedback. Recordings will be made available after each class for students to practice and view as many times as needed. Students are encouraged to share their finished pieces with the class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am an illustrator, artist, teacher, business owner, and a pug mom. I have a degree in Illustration, a visual art minor with 20 years of teaching experience. I believe that knowledge is power and the more you know the greater your influence can be. Learning should be fun and individual. Even when my students are looking at the same picture for painting class, their work is very individual and unique to them and I love that part of the creative process. We are all learners and we should celebrate each other on the Journey!
