The Aliens landed on Earth, but not everything here is to their liking. Help them to escape from Earth by solving musical riddles, then make a craft too!

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
The class consists of two parts. In the first part of the class, the students will follow four silly Aliens who landed on Earth. Unfortunately, the Aliens are not very comfortable here and need help to escape from Earth. In order to help the Aliens, students will collect musical clues while listening to pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Mussorgsky, and Gershwin. In a second part of the class, kids will be making an open-ended craft inspired by their musical journey and materials they prepared....
We will practice listening to short segments of classical music and expecting "clues" from the music. Students will be encouraged to use their imagination throughout the class. In addition, they will also exercise their fine motor skills during the craft time.
Supply List: • Card board cutout circle (6-7 inches diameter) • Construction paper • Apple sauce cup OR any other cup of a similar kind • Playdough • a plastic drinking straw • Piece of aluminum foil • Small buttons and/or beads • Glue • Scotch tape • Scissors • Markers, crayons, or pencils (optional)
For the craft portion of the class, parental help is required for younger students (ages 4-5) and recommended for older students (ages 6-8) due to the use of scissors.
