Fun meet & greet trial intro sample class. Guided set up to access the chemistry items in your Minecraft world. We will use a unique lab item to complete an interactive & social scavenger hunt challenge in Minecraft. Neurodiverse inclusive.

Welcome, to my class demo live meeting meet & greet where I will guide you through adding the Minecraft Chemistry items from your own game settings menu in order to access the AWESOMENESS that awaits you using the Minecraft software of either Bedrock or Education Edition that you may already own. I will introduce you to one of the unique Minecraft Chemistry lab items and how it can be used. We will have a scavenger hunt in Minecraft searching for a very necessary element in our world as well as a completely unique element not found on our planet! All learners will be working in their own Minecraft worlds using their own devices. 🧪 If you have been curious about any of my courses below, this demo class is a great way to meet me and peers as well as have a live guide on how to set up for one of my 8-week Minecraft Chemistry courses below. 1. Live weekly course 8-week cohort 2. Flexible schedule asynchronous 8-week course for flexible age range ~5-12 3. Teens flexible schedule asynchronous 8-week course *Minecraft Bedrock or Education Edition (not Java) gaming app/software is needed (and not provided) for this class. Gamer tags are not required to be shared as learners will be creating within their own Minecraft worlds. Either Education Edition (available on Windows 10/11, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Chromebook & Android phone and tablets) or Bedrock Edition (available on Switch, Xbox One, iPad, Fire tablet, Android & iPhone mobile devices, & Windows 10/11) will work well. Minecraft Education Edition does require account set up in advance. Java Edition does not have the option to import the chemistry items at this time.

Learning Needs
As a neurodivergent person myself, and an experienced, highly trained & certified educator, I create my classes to be especially neurodiverse inclusive for learners with dyslexia, autism ASD, 2e, gifted, ADHD, & PDA. Homeschool friendly.
Parental Guidance
*Gamer tags are not required to be shared as we are not gaming together in a server/realm in this course.
*Minecraft gaming app/software is needed (and not provided) for this class. Either Education Edition (available on Windows 10/11, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Chromebook & Android phone and tablets) or Bedrock Edition (available on Switch, Xbox One, iPad, Fire tablet, Android & iPhone mobile devices, & Windows 10/11) will work well. Minecraft Education Edition does require account set up in advance. Java Edition will not work as it does not have the option to import the chemistry items at this time.
*Learners will be playing Minecraft on their own devices either Education Edition or Bedrock Edition with the Education Edition Chemistry items imported into their world.
*Learners should be familiar with playing Minecraft on their own device and have the ability to locate items demonstrated through screensharing.
*Minecraft may contain cartoon type violence without blood or gore.
