Civil Engineering: Historical Accomplishments
Come and learn about historical engineering accomplishments! We will look at historical engineering projects and discuss how we think these creations were built, why they were built, and how they may have changed history.
Class experience
US Grade 6 - 9
Beginner Level
A featured historical engineering project will be selected prior to each class, and we will discuss what fascinates the students about the project. We will discuss what life may have been like at that time, how and why the project was built, and how it affected society at that time. Homework Offered
To participate in the discussion, students may want to research on their own any interesting details about the upcoming topic. This will not be graded, but will enhance the student's experience.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
