Class Experience

During this class I will teach students how to create MLA citations using the built in citation tools in Google Doc's.  Skills include:  Understanding MLA citation requirements, knowing when to cite, understanding what in-text citations are, understanding what a works cited page is, creating & modifying citations and a works cited page using Google Docs. 
Students will need a Google Drive account.  I will start with an onscreen presentation then navigate to Google Doc's to do a demonstration, then I will ask students to cite 2 sources and create a works cited page on their own.

Students will need a Google Drive account. Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. A Google Drive account comes with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools, in addition to other Google applications such as Forms, Sites, and Maps.
