Join us in playing this fun, online, team player game focusing on teamwork (and betrayal). Play online in a safe, closed-play environment with 4-10 players as you attempt to hold your spaceship together and return back to civilization. But beware...as there may be an alien impostor aboard! One crewmate has been replaced by a parasitic shapeshifter. Their goal is to eliminate the rest of the crew before the ship reaches home. The Impostor will sabotage the ship, sneak through vents, deceive, and frame others to remain anonymous and eliminate the crew. While everyone is fixing up the ship, no one can talk to maintain anonymity. Once a body is reported, the surviving crew will openly debate who they think The Impostor is. The Impostor's goal is to pretend that they are a member of the crew. If The Impostor is not voted off, everyone goes back to maintaining the ship until another body is found. If The Impostor is voted off, the crew wins! This game is about teamwork, uses critical thinking, strategy, and is all out fun! The game is a private game with only learners from this class. There is no foul language or inappropriateness. This is an on-going class. Each learner will need to download the mobile app (phone or tablet) "Among Us" for FREE via Google Play or the App Store. (I believe it is also available for the PC from Steam, but I do not think it's free.) Side note: As a parent, I am extremely cautious of what I allow my kids to play. I play this game with them and I do not find anything inappropriate or unacceptable. No language, no gore, no mature themes. This game is suitable for all ages really.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Cynthia Giannone. I am Cindy to my students. In 2014 I graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Counter-Terrorism. I am a mom of two teens; a boy and a girl. I have home-schooled them since preschool. In addition, I currently work as an online ESL teacher. I teach children from ages 4-18. I love teaching children of all ages. My focus is on making the classes fun and interesting.
Previously, I worked over a decade as a Conflict Resolution Supervisor for a major company, and I spent almost 7 years working as a makeup artist while managing a modeling agency.
I am passionate about many things, but these days I am hyper-focused on the safety of children while online. My degree is in Criminal Investigations. I have become all too familiar with the dangers of being online. I believe it is critical that kids are aware of those dangers, what to look for, and how to protect themselves and remain safe.
Others things that I really enjoy are cooking easy, healthy, tasty meals - and teaching kids how to do the same. I also enjoy makeup, reading, Pinterest, and playing card games.
My teaching philosophy is that all children learn in their own way, at their own pace. My goal is to tailor my teaching to each child. When teaching in groups, I use a variety of different techniques to ensure that I do my best to reach all types of learners in my class. I demonstrate what I'm teaching, I ask questions to check for understanding, and above all, I listen. Learning should be fun and interesting. Those are my goals for each and every class.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I hope to see your child/children in one of my classes.
