The tale of the sinking of the "unsinkable ship" is a famous historic event. Chronicling the Titanic is a one week class that teaches the historic facts surrounding the construction of the titanic, its voyage and its infamous destruction. We will discuss who was on the Titanic and why as well as what else was aboard the ship. There are many theories surrounding the sinking of the Titanic but what actually happened and why did so few people survive? These are just a few things we will discuss in this class. Pictures and other visuals will accompany the accounts to help bring it to life. At the end of class we will play a short game show style Q&A game to help cement in their minds what they heard. Students will need a pen and paper or dry erase board and marker to show their answers for the Q&A game. This will be a fun and interactive class. Come on the voyage with us!
