1 hour per week. Studens will receive feedback based on their execution of a particular skill. I will ask them to practice that skill between classes. During warm up, I will be assessing students' execution of the skill of the day.Grading

Class 1: Welcome & Introductions Ballet Warm Up based on the dancing nutcracker: Incorporating basic ballet movements such as plie, tendu, degage, sautes. Creative Movement Warm Up based on Holiday Theme: Ginger Bread Cookie Show & Tell-Something you love to use during the holidays Holiday Choreography: Students will begin learning a fun holiday dance based on the song most of our dancers choose. We will learn this dance throughout our sessions. Stretch & Goodbye Dance Class 2 Welcome & Introductions Ballet Warm Up based on the dancing nutcracker: Incorporating basic ballet movements such as plie, tendu, degage, sautes. Creative Movement Warm Up based on Holiday Theme: Building a Snow Man Show & Tell-Something you love to do, or use during the holidays Holiday Choreography: Students will continue learning a fun holiday dance based on the song most of our dancers choose. All you need is too love everything about the holiday Gingerbread Cookies, Hot Chocolate, Snowman, and Holiday Gingles!
Supply List
Ballet Attire with a Christmas theme (Optional) Please make sure the space is safe and secure for movement. *****If your learner is wearing a leotard, please make sure there are also wearing shorts, or a skirt with tights/shorts *****Do your best to make sure the camera is set in a way that I can see most (as much as possible) of your child's body. Please ensure, the camera is NOT pointed below the waist. Optional: Ballet Slippers, Christmas props/costumes, etc.

I'm a trained dance educator with a masters degree from NYU. I'm offering this class because I love ballet, and I love to see students grow in this art. I am also still a student of this technique so I know what it is to approach this on a pedagogical level, while not being too far removed from the experience of a student of the technique.
