Christmas Games, Story Time and Snowman Drawing!

In this one time class, learners will play a Christmas themed would you rather game, guess the rhyming words and help me tell a story. We will also read a short Christmas themed book, sing songs and draw a snowman!

Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten

In this one time class, learners will get an opportunity to play Christmas games, we will sing/dance to two Christmas songs, draw an easy snowman and listen to a Christmas book. We will practice writing by having your learner write their name on their snowman. If there is time at the end, learners will be asked if they have any item they would like to show and tell. The only supplies needed are crayons/markers/colored pencils and a blank sheet of paper. I outline my snowman in black, but learners can use their creativity and use any color they choose! We do talk about Santa in this class! Class format is as follows: 

-Introductions
-Would you rather game
-Rhyming words
-Elf story (help me choose the words!)
-Singing/dancing to Christmas songs
-Draw our snowman
-Listen to our book "The Night Before Christmas"
-Goodbyes

The goal of this class is to have fun, practice writing/drawing and get excited for this special Holiday season! I hope to see your learner soon!

Hi there!
I am a fifth year homeschooling mom and enjoy it so much that I would love the opportunity to reach a broader audience of little learners. I have a Bachelors and a Masters Degree. My degrees are centered around the justice system and our communities. I briefly taught adult learners but after getting married and starting a family I realized I have a passion for teaching young learners! 

As a homeschooling mom, we use Outschool to supplement our curriculum and I understand the value of this platform. My classes will be geared to little learners from the ages of 3-7. I want to teach classes that involve having fun while learning the alphabet, practicing CVC words, learning how to form letters and basic counting, reading practice, sounding out words, art, socialization/show and tell and holiday themed classes. My daughter is currently in this age range so I am up to date on current standards of curriculum. 

My family and I love playing outside, reading together and baking. My hobbies include hand making pasta, bread and donuts, growing flowers in our garden, crocheting and embroidery.
