Join us for a magical adventure in Santa's village! In this fun and interactive class, your learner will help Ellwood the elf complete his Christmas Eve to-do list. They'll get to explore a map of the village and choose exciting places to visit, each with its own activity or puzzle to solve. Learners will get to go on a sleigh ride, sing along to a Christmas song, search for a mischievous cat, and complete fun puzzles. After completing their tasks, they'll head over to the Hot Chocolatier's Tap House for a show-and-tell. Don't forget to have your child bring their favorite toy or something else they'd like to show the class! They'll also get to sneak a peek at Santa's Naughty and Nice lists and, at the end of class, they'll receive an official "Nice List" certificate from Santa. Don't miss out on this fun and festive opportunity to explore Santa's village and celebrate the holiday season! Please note that this is a secular class and all learners are welcome!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! My name is Cera (sounds like "Sarah"), and I am a highly experienced teacher with a passion for education and learning. I am a certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and have completed coursework towards a Master's in Education with a focus on teaching multiple subjects to students in grades K-8.
I have been working in the field of education for the past ten years, and have a wealth of experience teaching reading and writing, as well as English as a second language. I have worked with students from elementary to middle school, both in the classroom and online, and have over five years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in English Language Arts.
In addition to my expertise in reading and writing, I am also interested in using storytelling and elements of game design to make learning more engaging and interactive. I love to create escape rooms and other types of mysteries, treasure hunts, and games that inspire learners to think critically and creatively.
In all of my classes, I aim to develop skills in communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, and strive to create learning experiences that are both challenging and fun. Whether it's an escape room or a book club, I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, and I look forward to sharing that experience with your learners!
In my free time I love to read, crochet, decorate cookies and look for tiny doors hidden in trees.
