Class experience
This book club will meet to read and discuss 3 book series. The 3 book series will include: The Pigeon (author Mo Willems) Pete the Cat (author James Dean) Oscar 'Start with Science' (author Geoff Waring) The book club will be structured to read 1 book per session. Content does not build. There will also be opportunities to discuss and ask questions about the book. Each book read will be placed on the screen so that students can follow along and see the book illustrations. The book...
Students will grow an appreciation for reading and a love for books.
Students are welcomed to bring a copy of the book to the class.
The book series to be read will include: The Pigeon (author Mo Willems) Pete the Cat (author James Dean) Oscar Start with Science (author Geoff Waring) The books were vetted and chosen to ensure compliance with being age-appropriate for students age 8-12. Topics included in the books include science concepts, engineering concepts, and fantasy animals/creatures.
The book series will include: The Pigeon (author Mo Willems) Pete the Cat (author James Dean) Oscar Start with Science (author Geoff Waring) Resources used will be in the form of the book on the screen.
