Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Welcome to our Semester 1 Charlotte Mason Nature Study Enrichment Club! Each session is an exciting journey where we explore the wonders of nature together. Here’s what you can expect:

Every unit will feature an nature observation focus to complete. This might be a chart or a log or something in nature to observe. I will provide a post where you can share your observations. I am excited to learn and comment on what you find!

For every lesson I will invite you to share what encounters in nature you have observed in your area. Even in the busiest of cities nature can be observed. I will be sharing what I've seen, too in a post where I hope to have lots of conversations.

I will present a short nature lesson on topic that encourages observation and questions. I love questions and I am happy to answer them! Curious about the difference between a typhoon and a hurricane? Just send me a message. I will be looking forward to discovering these topics with you!

We will complete a nature journal entry on the lesson's topic. I will have a drawing tutorial to help students with their drawing ability. There will be a post where you can share any of your journal entries. There will be an optional Padlet where students can upload their nature art. (I receive a notification each time there is an upload so the Padlet will be monitored for safety and appropriateness).

We will wrap up every unit with a fun Kahoot! game.

"Let them [children] once get in touch with nature and a habit is formed which will be a source of delight and habit through life." -Charlotte Mason
Learning Goals
