Research shows that singing songs while reading the lyrics can help beginning readers develop reading fluency. For each session of this ongoing class, learners will receive a new coloring page with a printed nursery rhyme and a picture of the characters. In class, we will learn to chant the rhyme together with rhythm. Then we will add a melody and sing it together.
