Class Experience

In today's world, it's so important that children learn to embrace and accept others.  In this one-time class, we will be discussing how people are different and unique.  Everyone looks different on the outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts. Children will learn that the differences are what make us special and unique!  We will be reading a book, having a discussion about unique differences, and doing an activity to show children the importance of not judging others by what they...

Students will improve their understanding of accepting others' differences.

I am a licensed elementary teacher with 14 years experience teaching children in public schools and online.

Children will need paper and crayons and/or markers.  Children can also bring a family picture to class if you would like to share it with us during our lesson.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
